Speed & strength·Coach Daniel Hoffman·Wisconsin

Train to be ultimate.

Spartan strength, ultimate results. Personalized coaching in speed, strength, agility and core function — tested, programmed, and adjusted against your own numbers.

The mission

Discipline builds the athlete

S.U.P exists to build the ultimate dynamic, health-oriented lifestyle — through discipline, athleticism, and habits that hold up after the session ends. Founded by Coach Daniel Hoffman in 2023.

01 — Measure

Test, don't assume

Jumps, speed and agility get measured before anything gets written. Baselines set the program; retests decide whether it stays.

02 — Build

Train the gap

Strength, speed, agility or core function — you get the block that closes your actual limiter, not the one that fills an hour.

03 — Hold

Coach the rep

Programs adjust every four weeks, check-ins run bi-weekly, and goals get reassessed monthly. Nothing runs on autopilot.

What gets measured

The testing battery

Speed and strength testing across jumps, sprints and change of direction — the six numbers every program is built from.

Services

Train the gap,
not the hour

Four programs, one method. Every one starts from your assessment numbers, adjusts every four weeks, and gets retested on a schedule you can see.

Program 01

Personal training

Competitive athletes · Returning lifters · All fitness levels

Private, one-to-one sessions with expert guidance and real-time feedback on every working set. Your block is written from your assessment and rewritten the moment the retest says it should be — whether the goal is speed, strength, weight loss or overall wellness.

  • Initial consultation and full movement assessment
  • Weekly customized plans, adjusted every four weeks
  • Hands-on technical coaching, live corrections
  • Sprint mechanics, plyometrics and heavy strength work
  • Bi-weekly check-ins and monthly goal assessments
Program 02

Semi-private performance testing

Groups of 2–4 · Teammates · Position groups

The same testing battery and the same coaching eye, run in a small group. Everyone gets individual programming — you just share the floor and the clock. Athletes train harder when someone is standing on the line next to them, and the rate reflects the shared hour.

  • Jumps, speed and agility testing every session
  • Individual programs run concurrently in the group
  • Shared leaderboard across the training block
  • Written report per athlete on testing days
  • Team and position-group rates available
Program 03

Mobility & recovery

In-season athletes · Post-rehab · High training loads

Range of motion is a performance input, not a warm-up ritual. These sessions restore the positions your sport keeps taking away and give you a recovery plan that fits an actual week — not one that assumes three free hours a day.

  • Hip, ankle, T-spine and shoulder screening with degree targets
  • Soft tissue and joint-specific range work
  • Loaded end-range strengthening so the range holds
  • Sleep, hydration and load-management guidance
  • Coordination with your physio or athletic trainer
Program 04

Online coaching

Out-of-area athletes · Travel seasons · Home gyms

Pursue your goals on your own terms. Choose 2, 3 or 4 sessions per week — each with warm-ups, cool-downs, primary lifts and instructional video for form and tempo. Plans adapt to a full gym or minimal equipment, though access to free weights gets the best results.

  • Remote assessment protocol with video walkthrough
  • 2, 3 or 4 programmed sessions per week
  • Instructional video on every movement, form and tempo
  • Video review with frame-by-frame technical notes
  • Q&A support and progress tracking between check-ins

How it works

Three steps, in this order

The sequence matters. No program gets written before there are numbers, and none gets kept once it stops moving them.

Step 01

Consult & assess

A free consultation, then a full assessment. You leave with a written profile and your baseline numbers.

Step 02

Build

A weekly customized plan written to your limiter and your season, adjusted every four weeks.

Step 03

Retest

Same battery, same conditions. Monthly goal assessments decide what the next block looks like.

Booking policy

Your slot is held for you

Sessions are booked one-to-one, which means the hour is yours and nobody else's — it can't be filled at short notice. These terms are agreed at intake so nothing has to be negotiated later.

Cancelling

24 hours' notice

Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice and there's no charge — move it to any open slot that week.

Late cancel

Inside 24 hours

A cancellation inside 24 hours uses the session from your package, or is charged in full on the card at file.

No-show

Missed sessions

A missed session without notice is charged in full. The slot was held and can't be offered to anyone else in time.

Running late

The clock doesn't move

Arrive late and we train with the time that's left — the session still ends when scheduled, so the athlete after you isn't cut short.

Goodwill

One free pass

Life happens. Every client gets one late cancellation per package or per month with no charge, no questions asked.

Openings

Standby list

Cancelled slots go straight to the standby list. Ask to be on it and you'll get first offer on early or extra sessions.

Reminders go out 24 hours and again two hours before every session, so nothing gets lost. The full policy is signed at intake before the first session — you'll get a copy with your program.

Not sure which one

Tell Daniel your sport, your season and your setup. He'll tell you which program fits — including if it's none of them.

About

Coach Daniel Hoffman

Athletic performance coach. Former professional wide receiver. Founder of Spartan Ultimate Performance.

Daniel has spent his career on both sides of the work — as the athlete being prepared, and as the coach doing the preparing.

He earned a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science & Kinesiology from Ave Maria University in the fall of 2019, and has since built a career as a personal trainer in Wisconsin, working with clients at every level. Alongside training, he has played professionally as a wide receiver — a season in the Fan Controlled Football League and, most recently, a year of football in Germany, with plans to return.

Playing at that level taught him what real preparation looks like from the inside: the testing, the load management, the small technical corrections that separate an athlete who lasts a season from one who doesn't. It also showed him how rarely that reaches the athletes who need it most.

He founded S.U.P in 2023 to close that gap — making the same testing battery, programming logic and coaching standard available to anyone willing to do the work, from competitive athletes to people starting from scratch.
